FESPA Digital 2014 turned out to be one of the busiest shows we have ever seen! What a success! FESPA TV interviewed Guy Zimmerman, our EVP Marketing & Business Development, where he discussed the show’s excitement, and our latest products.

Just a few years ago, direct-to-garment printing was very basic and had a more commercial feel to it. Today, garments printed in small quantities have to be of the same quality as garments that are sold in department stores. This change is largely due to lesser-known designers gaining popularity, increased online activity trends, and the consumer’s desire for more personalization. Because of the technology behind direct-to-garment printing, the world of digital printing is constantly evolving.

In his interview, Guy noted that our biggest challenge is to “remain in the frontline and continue relentlessly supporting our customers and also continue looking for the next generation technology, because it’s evolving all the time.” He continued to explain that there are many huge markets worldwide, and the adoption of digital printing is accelerating, with the need to bring digital printing into mass production. This need is what led us to expand our product offering to include R2R fabric printing.

As the corporate partner for FESPA Fabric 2014, and sponsor of the Fabric Hub, we were able to demonstrate our broad portfolio of direct-to-garment printing solutions. The products that caught the most attention included the Avalanche Hexa, the Allegro, and the Breeze, all for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The attendees showed great interest in our unique approaches that are tied into the changes in the industry.

Considering the success of the show, we’re already looking forward to FESPA Digital 2015. Meanwhile, we will continue sharing knowledge and supporting companies through our partnership with FESPA.
