SIMPLE SMART was the theme for this year’s TEDX
Jaffa event – held on July 10th, 2017 at Gesher Theater in Jaffa, where speakers
presented pioneering ideas that impact our daily lives and that are set to impact positively on the urban environment to create a better future. The 12 dynamic
speakers defined the ‘Simple Smart’ concept through their personal and
professional lenses from various angles such as technology, retail, fashion,
agriculture, transportation, food, customer behaviour, art and more.
Kornit
was there and Omer Kulka, Kornit’s VP Marketing & Product Strategy, presented
how the evolution of online behavior is changing the world of fashion and
textile. Omer provided a fascinating insight into the new world of fashion
consumerism and the revolutionary impact it is having on the fashion industry
in its entirety.
Omer
started his career in R&D and quickly transitioned towards customers and
market facing roles, leveraging his technological knowledge and expertise to
working with people rather than machines. In 2011 he joined Kornit Digital, a
fast growing start-up tech company, focused on developing technological
solutions for digital printing on textiles. Omer is leading Kornit Digital’s Marketing and Product Strategy department. Omer holds a BSc in Computer
Science, a BA in Philosophy and an MA in History and Philosophy of Sciences and
