This year, for the first time ever, Kornit and veteran Israeli fashion icon and producer Moti Reif joined forces in Kornit Fashion Week Tel-Aviv 2021 to put the spotlight on sustainability.

The high-profile event, Israel’s annual celebration of high fashion, revolved this year on local designers who were invited to create collections using Kornit’s on-demand, eco-friendly (production) technologies.

Victor Bellaish is one of Israel’s most celebrated fashion designers, having started his illustrious career with Roberto Cavalli in Florence.

His collection, titled Sign of the Times (an homage to Prince) is a mix of styles and textures and pays tribute to his parents who immigrated to Israel in the 50’s from Tunisia. Using Kornit’s Direct-to-Fabric printers, Bellaish replicates traditional methods of manufacturing, which let him plan the designs according to the cut of the fabrics.

“This allowed me to return to a world of color, and to dream without boundaries.”
